carry - on

Slowly making it through
day by day
being persistent,
having the necessary commitment
not to you,
not to anything out side of myself.

But merely to me.
To be the man
I am inside
to let him shine forth

like the very sun I see in your eyes.
i am commited to having you see me as I truly am
as the person I truly want to be,
again not for you - but for me.

and so I carry on.
